I don't want to write any random gyan here today and bore you because I am absolutely tired. I was that kid who spent all her preparation leaves watching Gossip Girl or Keeping up with the Kardashians, and then I spent the entire night before the exam studying.

That sad part is - I am still that kid. I always leave stuff for the last minute and that is the time when I wonder why I do that to myself. Anyway, when I get stressed out, music is my only rescue. Though my music playlist varies from time to time, when I am stressed I like to listen to songs that can mute the voices in my head.

So, here is my current playlist. You might hate it or you might like it but do let me know if you like it.

1. The Weeknd - In the Night

The breakout star of 2015, Abel's voice is extremely soothing even when its juxtaposed with rock music. More than the original song, I like this version of it which he sang for the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show this year. Bonus point - you get to listen to this great song and watch models pacing the runway in lingerie. You can thank me later.

By the way, all The Weeknd's songs are actually about drugs. Can you find the references?

2. Adele - When We were Young

Did you seriously think my playlist wouldn't include Adele? While "Hello" has become a worldwide hit and a meme phenomenon, I like this song better. May be its the calmness of the music or the amazing lyrics, or may be its just Adele.

 3. John Legend - All of Me

If there was a song that could completely define love and what it really is, then this is it. John Legend wrote this song for his wife, Chrissy Teigen, who by the way looks hot in the video. The lyrics are so amazingly laid with the beautiful melodies. This song is going to be one of those classics that will be heard by and loved by generations to come.

4. A Great Big World Ft. Christina Aguilara - Say Something

I don't listen to this song as much as I would want to, and thats because it hits me in the gut. The lyrics are simple but the melodies take you to a different dimension. Also, Christina Aguilera's vocals are hot damn!

5. Hozier - Take me to Church

Hozier wrote this song about not being accepted in the Church just because he was gay. The song became an anthem for gay rights. But what I love about this song is how he glorifies his vulnerabilities and he isn't afraid of saying it.
