Valentine's Day, Again ?

By Saturday, February 09, 2013

The two most annoying holidays that anyone could ever come up with are New Year's and Valentines's day.

Everyone wants to top the last one and everyone wants to be happy but there is so much pressure to be happy that we end up trying too hard and not being happy at all. Plus that annoying endless interrogation from random people - What are you doing this New Year's / Valentine's ?
'Well why on earth do you care? Shut the hell up and keep walking, Dude !

The only thing I used to love about Valentine's were the endless romantic movies on TV and those amazing love songs on the radio. But after a while, I guess you just grow out of it. I used to be so excited about Valentine's day when I was in school, hoping that atleast one guy would approach me on the 14th. But as you could already guess, it never happened. So I got so frustrated that I went into the anti Valentine's team and made fun of all the couples. ( Trust me, it is SO satisfying :D )

Honestly I am a little shy when it comes to stuff like Valentine. I don't like people knowing I am a lovey-mushy person or I had rather not have people know I have a heart. And trust me on this, if I was single I would have a really sick anti Valentine tradition and spoil everyone else's Valentine's day !

So anyways, coming back to the point that I don't like people knowing I am a lovey-mushy person. I made him a gift last year, yes, I literally made it ! It's a pretty big thing for someone who can't even make her own tea.  But then I decided not to give it because it was horribly romantic and because I knew he would be ready with the funniest punch lines to throw at me. And because I know he doesn't do lovey-mushy (Thank God for that !)

But to my surprise, he gave me the prettiest gift I have ever got . When he gave me a gift wrapped box, I really thought it was some kind of joke, and the moment I would open it a clown would jump out and start laughing at me BUT IT DIDN'T ! I couldn't be more relieved, and happy ofcourse.

When I came back home, I took a marker and wrote the date on it in case I forget..
