There comes a time in everybody's life when they have to start a new chapter in their lives and move on. Every chapter is a new beginning in this book of life and we have to make sure each one of them counts and makes a difference.
When you start a new life, there is always a first time for everything - first time you clean up your own mess instead of yelling at your mother, the first time you take responsibility for your own actions and the first time you have messed up things so much that nobody can help you with that. I have always believed in starting a new chapter and moving on with a clean slate.
I feel sometimes you do need new beginnings despite of how luring the past looks to you. Sometimes, you just need to take that step forward without looking back because past will always be the same but the future can be anything you wish for.
For me, that life changing moment was when I stepped out of my house and started living on my own for the first time. Maybe I wasn't completely prepared, maybe I didn't even have an idea of how difficult it was going to be but I still wanted to do it. Because the idea of a new beginning was too exciting to pass.
I didn't even know how to cross a road. And I'll always be thankful for the people who have been by my side despite of how much I have tried to push them. Other thing I have always believed in is, you can never start a new life on your own, and you always need people on your side. You need the support and love of the people around you. Because no matter how much crazy they make us, it's no denying that we would all be a little less rich without them. But it's been about 5 years since then I don’t regret that decision at all. I would not be the girl I am today if I hadn't moved out and lived on my own in an unknown city.
So stop dwelling on the past and take a step forward. Move out of your present life and move into a new chapter of your life with all the new possibilities you couldn't even think of. Because you have no idea of what life has in store for you. Maybe sometimes, it's good not know what’s going to happen in the future. Maybe, that fear of not knowing helps in striving more. And maybe it will take us to new places we didn't even know about.
