Foodie Friday - Baked Samosa

By Friday, August 17, 2012 ,

Baked samosa or flat samosa as I like to call it,is a specialty from Indore. I don't think you can get it at any other place in India. You might get some baked versions of samosa but not like this one.

The best one's are those you get at street vendors. They put lots of butter, green chutney, onions and ofcourse Indori Senv in between and this is just delicious.

PS : I have no idea how this is made,if you know please tell me otherwise I will ask my patent street vendor :D

Have a great extended weekend

  3. you know when I first came to Indore my brother told me in the evening I will feed you bina tala samosa ! and the whole day I was wondering what could a non fried samosa taste like !!!!!!!!!

eventually it was the normal vegetable puff that we get all over the country but the way Indore vendor's garnish them with bundi, sev, jeerawali, onion, chutney and ketchup is quite amazing !!! I guess a lot of people in Indore especially the marketing guys have this for LUNCH ! I used to do that alot of times when wifey would travel ! :D
